Former President Of Nigeria Dies
The Former President Of Nigeria, Shehu Shagari has been reportedly dead at the National Hospital Abuja on Friday after a brief illness.
Shehu Shagari died at the age of 93 years old. His demise was announced on Twitter by his grandson, Bello Shagari.
Bello on Twitter wroteI; “l regret announcing the death of my grandfather, H.E Alhaji Shehu Shagari, who died right now after brief illness at the National hospital, Abuja.”
The Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal also confirmed the report on his Twitter handle.
He said: “I regret to Announce the death of former President Shehu Shagari who just passed away at National Hospital Abuja. May his Soul Rest in Peace.”
